Little pilot by Elena Martynova

I really liked this picture of a little boy with a plane and a pilot’s helmet. It’s theme and palette fit perfectly with the Air Mail collection.

To start with, I used two sheets of Air Mail – Post Mark 12×12″ paper for the base of my layout. Stencils by 7 DOTs are always very interesting. I applied a texture paste and embossing powder through a Air Mail – Airplane Stencil. The Air Mail – Postage Notes Stencil I used in a different way: with the help of a sponge and some Distress ink. With stickers and die-cut elements you can create amazing layers and add detail to your work. To create additional layers I took a chipboard from 2Crafty Chipboard and with the help of texture paste and embossing powder added a little rusty look. I finished the project with some quotes from Air Mail – Word Stickers.
