Newest collection designed by DeeDee Catron – Paint Chips – is a dream for me!! I love the mixed colors, that create wonderful hues.
As focal point I have used a photo of my kids in the mountain. On my layout you will find many repeated geometric patterns followed by curved shapes of chipboard pieces. They contrast with each other – same as kraft with sparkle. For background and adding some colour to chipboard edges I have used Finnabair Impasto paints (very thick – great for applying directly through stencils).
Because I wanted this layout to be soft but rough in the same time, I have used soft thread to create the word “LOVE” but also raw chipboard pieces and totally not sweat colors.
