March 2018 Challenge

We hope you like our new Challenges! This time we have another Moodboard for you. Nature is always a huge inspiration that’s why we wanted to convey that in the March Moodboard. The shades of blue with vibrant oranges, the trees, sunrises, flowers ,water. Which part inspires you the Most?

Join our Challenge and create any projects inspired by the Moodboard.   You can make layouts, tags, ATC, canvases, collages, art-journals, off the page projects and more.  We hope that it will inspire you to create new and amazing projects that you can share with us.

Heather Thompson

These new mood boards are so stunningly beautiful. I saw this mood board and new exactly what picture I wanted to do. I had this picture of Maksim when he was little smelling a flower, and the colour matched perfectly with the bottom picture. The flowers remind me of spring which is just around the corner. (Yeah!!). The Paintchips collection was the perfect colour combo and after adding some background texture with the paint chips stencil, I got right to the putting the composition together.

 

Fiona Paltridge

Using the Hazy Days collection I was able to pull together all the colours from the moodboard. I also drew inspiration from the large flower on the board which I replicated with some acrylic paints finally adding a quote using the “Word Stickers”.

 

Nathalie Dalibard

I love so much the colours of the new combo this month, so fresh !!! The FORGET ME NOT flowers, “Myosotis” are just my preferd flowers, when I saw these little flowers on the new challenge board, I knew that I had to create a canvas with this title! I played with different Mixed Media products to create the background of my canvas and layered with Paint Chips’ papers and tags. I added a lot of chipboards and flowers . I cut my tittle from different Words Stickers.

 

Lisa Amiet

I was very inspired by the moodpboard. I loved the colours and the wildflowers. I have used a mix of the Hazy Days, Verano Azul, Cotton Candy Dreams & Paintchips collections to achieve this. I really wanted to also give emphasis on the wildflowers.

Hello friends! Our new board is so spring and sunny! I made the layout a fairy tale. On the awakening of spring: when the fairy wings become golden, then it’s time to wake up nature 🙂 I Used a bright collection “Paint Chips”.

I really like our new palette! The combination of colours is so inspiring! I have used sheet of paper Paint Chips – Glaze , Paint Chips – Hatched Stencil , tags and Stickers from this collection.

For our March Challenge I’ve created a layout on toned background but with jucy details – paints, papers, chipboards and stickers. The combination of yellow and blue is always close to my heart. I hope it will also inspire You.

Hello dears! When I saw this month mood board, I imagined some fairytale village, immersed deep in the forest. A magical place where I would love to live in my next life 🙂
So I created a piece of this dream on this canvas. Papers from Paint Chips collection just perfectly matched to my vision. I used the Aquamarine 12×12 paper as a background. And a few papers from the 6×6 pad to stamp on them leaves and brunches. I also found 2 beautiful words stickers from Dreamscapes collection, which completely match to my message.

• create any project inspired by the Moodboard. You don’t have to follow any specific part. It’s not a colour or theme challenge. You can be inspired by any and every part of it. Just create whatever comes to your mind.
• use at least one 7 Dots Studio product
• publish your project on your blog with a link to our challenge
• do not forget to include our Moodboard in your blog post (you will find it at the top of this post)
• use inlinkz and please link directly to your blog post, not to whole blog
• Challenge is open till March, 30th midnight CET. We announce winners on the 5th of April.

The main winner is going to win One Collection Kit and one 6×6 Pad!
The second and third place are going to get 30% and 15% coupons to our store respectively.
