Here is the inspiration from our team:
Another month at 7 Dots Studio and another fabulous new mood board! So Shabby and elegant, with a hint of spring vintage. Even though I used a classic collection with the Queen’s Heart, it worked perfect with the board. The picture is of one of my flowers from the garden (Bee Balm) and I softened the photo to make it more vintage looking. So after some background work with the Paint Chips and Lost and Found Stamps, I added texture with the Geometry Stencil and sand texture paste. With leaves and doilies made from the paper pack and lots of lace, it just adds to the vintage shabby look and gives you more feel of the mood board. I finished it off with the “True Beauty” word sticker from the Cotton Candy Dreams Collection.
My layout is a soft beachy feel, that I achieved by mixing and matching my collections! I love the summery feel to this one. The colours of the mood board and feel of it inspired my creation.
These new mood boards are so stunningly beautiful. Using the “Lost and Found” collection I was able to pull together all the colours from the moodboard. I also drew inspiration from the bouquet of flowers on the board which I replicated with photo in frame finally adding a quote using the “Word Stickers”. I just love typewriters, so when I saw it on the moodboard, I decided to add it to my canvas.
This mood board reminds me of a sweet photo of my two kids. When they played outside in a big beautiful garden. They are so sweet and loving on this photo. So I picked a paper from Northern Light collection. The back side was a perfect match to the mood board colours. Then I added some background stamps and stencils. To create a layering under the photo I used a paper from Thoughts Keeper collection. And I also used some tags and die cuts elements from different collections by 7 Dots Studio.
Hello friends! This month we have a very delicate, bright and slightly vintage board. I made a canvas with my friend’s photo. Surrounded by leaves and flowers, It reminds me of summer so much. The typewriter inspired the use of a stamp from the Writer’s Block collection. The flowers and circles are made from the Cotton Candy Dreams collection very suitable for the palette of the board.
Dear Crafty Friends, for our May challenge I prepared a bright layout. The May Moodboard is very feminine, don’t You think? Soft, delicate, with the Sprig spirit in the air. To create my project I used “Northern Lights” collection, and “Cotton Candy Dreams” clear stamps. I hope that I’ll inspire You to take part in our challenge.
