New Day by Ola Khomenok

Hello dears!
Ola here. Today I would like to inspire you with Vintage style layout. I believe each of us from time to time has a hard period. When we are not in the right mood to create anything. When we have no desire to get out of a bed and to do all our commitments. This layout is about those days. I had 2 very hard emotional weeks. But now it’s over. I found some power and overcame everything. This layout will tell you how exactly 🙂

A few words about the technical part:
First I picked a background paper which matches the photo. I covered it with a clear gesso, added some background stamps and applied a texture paste trough stencil. After drying I created a layering under the photo, using Lost and Found collection papers, Paint Chips tags and I also added some old book pages between the layers. Next I arranged all the embellishments and covered them with a clear gesso too. To embellishment this project, beside the 7 Dots Studio products, I used an original vintage tea spoon and ink pen nib :). At the end I added some splashes with Colour Bloom mists.
