Secret by Ola Khomenok
Hello dears!
Today I would like to share with you this mixed media collage. I always looking for new elements and materials to use in my art works. So this time I decided to use a few pieces of broken glass. When I saw these pieces, they reminded me a pretty long part of my life when I felt just like a broken glass. But all this in the past. I believe that our art not just to create a beautiful stuff, but also to heal our souls. So this collage it’s some kind of therapy 🙂
Few words about the process:
I started with gluing a pieces of cardstocks to the canvas and covered them with a clear Gesso to protect the paper before painting. Next I applied some texture using White Sand paste, Crackle paste and Light paste through stencils. After drying I colored the background with India inks. The second layer was a 7 Dots Studio tags cluster. I coloured the broken glass with alcohol inks. Next I glued all the elements to the background and added some final touches with word stickers. I’m in love with those stickers, using them you can create a little story in your art work.
