September 2018 Challenge

Welcome Back! September is the month of coming back from vacation and slowly chilling down. The weather isn’t so hot and the rush of holiday adventure is settling down. Our moodboard is just like that. Delicate, soft, with graceful images of nature and cosy interiors. What projects will it inspire you to create?

Join our Challenge and create any projects inspired by the Moodboard. You can make layouts, tags, ATC, canvases, collages, art-journals, off the page projects and more. Please read the rules at the bottom of this post so you can win some amazing prices. We hope that it will inspire you to create new and amazing projects that you can share with us.

Wiosanka

September is for me the most nostalgic and sad month in the whole year. The summer ends in September and all beauty in the nature start the preparation for the winter. But the colours of our September Moodboard are very beautiful. And in spite of the autumn mood, I decided to get inspired and prepare my projects.

 

Bipasha K

I created a pair of Mixed media cards inspired by the beautiful mint, pink and green and the elements in the stunning September moodboard. I used Garden Party to create the card bases and tags and die cut outs from the same line to create additional textured effect in my mixed-media cards.

 

Elena Martynova

For September challenge I prepared two cards from mysterious collection Garden Party. I fell in love with the delicate palette of our moodboard. I used different flowers in my work, to add tenderness.

 

Karolina Bukowska

This moodboard is amazing and it inspired me to create the simple watercolour layout. I was inspired by the teal and pink colours. I decided to play with colour and I added my favourite the word stickers. They are in my top 10 favourite stuff and they helped me to express my thoughts. I filled the background with stamps with text.

 

Kavi Tha

Another gorgeous and inspiring moodboard, I was totally inspired by the blue and pink combo and lovely florals. I created a mixed media style notebook using garden party collection papers and word sticker

 

Ola Khomenok

This amazing mood board inspired me to create a motivational layout. As a base I choose a paper from Garden Party collection. The word stickers from the same collection helped me to express my thoughts.

The rules are as simple as A, B, C:

• create any project inspired by the Moodboard. You don’t have to follow any specific part. It’s not a colour or theme challenge. You can be inspired by any and every part of it. Just create whatever comes to your mind.
• use at least one 7 Dots Studio product
• publish your project on your blog with a link to our challenge
• do not forget to include our Moodboard in your blog post (you will find it at the top of this post)
• use inlinkz and please link directly to your blog post, not to whole blog
• Challenge is open till September, 30th midnight CET. We announce winners on the 5th of October.

The main winner is going to win One Collection Kit and one 6×6 Pad!
The second and third place are going to get 30% and 15% coupons to our store respectively.
