Steampunk Box by Ola Khomenok

Hello dears!
Today I’m going to inspire you with an altered project. I decided to alter this simple wooden box, using 7 Dots Studio papers from Lost and Found collection. It’s a gift for my amazing husband.

First I covered all the edges with a Black Gesso. Then I glued a pieces of Lost and Found – Vignette paper on the outer sides of the box. And a pieces of Lost and Found – Lab Notes on the inner sides of the box. To protect the papers I covered all the box with Soft Matte Gel by Finnabair. After drying I added a texture paste, mixed with metallic Cooper acrylic paint through Numbers stencil by 7 Dots Studio. Next I added all the embellishments and coloured them, using Rust Effect pastes and Art Alchemy Metallique paints by Finnabair. My husband was really happy to get this gift 🙂
