Strong as an Oak by Bipasha K

This is Bipasha with my very first post for the fabulous 7 Dots Studio team. I am so excited to share with you a multilayered “Strong as an oak” scrapbook 12×12 page in my fave colours (teal orange rusted combination) and collection, with a video tutorial . This page resembles strength, strong will power and positive vibes. I used Sheet “brain freeze” and “sugar haze” from Cotton Candy Dreams collection along with chipboards, stickers elements, tags, stamps and word stickers from the Garden party collection. I totally love the fact how the different lines can be mixed and matched to create beautiful backgrounds and add details to a layout.

I decided to use the beautiful transition of the background papers from turquoise to soft peach in the horizontal direction and create a two layered interest. To have a pop feeling to the page I used layers behind the photo which include some pieces of patterned papers, chippies, lace trims, sticker elements as well as tags. To finish it off I added some splatters of complementary acrylics and coffee stains.
