Sweat Dreams by Elena Martynova

I decided to create an album inspired by the Winter theme. I took new and one of my favourite collection Northeren Ligts. In this album I have used an usual rectangular and round photos. I took a shots of my daughter and me, which were made on the Christmas themed photo-shoot.

For the cover I took a piece of beige faux leather. This colour fits perfectly to the palette of the paper collection. So the cover was bright and shiny, I applied a clear gel through a Northern Lights – Pixelated Snowflakes and sprinkle purple glitter. On the spread I also used this stencil with white modeling paste. To complicate the background and make the work more interesting, I used stamps from the Northern Lights clear stamps set and Paint Chips clear stamps. I decorated the chipboard by 2Crafty Chipboard with white and silver embossing powder by Lindy’s. It has become more textured and looks great in the album. I love the colours and prints of Northern Lights collection, so I combined some of the elements and created a layered objects. During the process I enjoyed paper crafting, combining different patterns. I added some bright paint splashes.
