Hello wonderful crafters,
Today I am going to share with you dreamy Vintage layout called “Unscripted story”. I have mixed and matched some beautiful lines from the 7 Dots Studio: Air Mail, Dreamscapes and Garden Party collections. These definitely are my current faves and so versatile, with beautiful vintage touch.

To start with, I used Dreamscapes-Narwhal 12″x12″ paper for the base of my layout. I layered my base with a chipboard to make it sturdy enough to take the paints, inks and mixed media embellishments. I tore the base layer to imitate a cracked window and used a Homegrown paper to fill the underlayer. I added loads of coffestains and used dried tea bags to create the composition. I further tore a Writer’s block tag and distressed it to add a withered aged effect in my design.

I coated the chipboards from Air mail and Garden Party with black Gesso and textured with Camouflage & Fantasy rust paste from Finnabair to create a dimensional grungy look. I did get a chance to use some artistic junks from my stash : old button, threads, laces, metal bits and pieces – what a treasure! I added some further layers of laces, vintage photos and torn paper pieces from 6×6″ paper pad of the Air Mail line, Garden Party – Element Stickers, Air Mail – Die-cut Elements. I blended in everything with some black threads.

Finally to draw the attention of the viewer to the key details in my layout, I added the altered rusted frame chipboards completing the design.
I finished the project with some quotes from Air mail Word Stickers and have created a video tutorial to demonstrate the process from scratch. I hope it will inspire you to create your own personalised beautiful banners using these eye-catchy collections from 7 Dots Studio.
