Challenge Inspiration by Karine Gagnon – February 2019

I felt in love with this moodboard. My first reflex, when I saw the gorgeous purple in the board, was to go for the Garden Party collection, but as I went through my stash, I found that beautiful paper from the Homegrown collection. It was the perfect bluish grey background to set my layout. I created a mixed media background using my all time favorite Dreamscapes Geometry stencil. To add a little touch of gold to match the moodboard, I used the Yuletide clear stamps with gold embossing powder. I also added Paint Chips clear stamps with black archival ink.

When my background was complete, I used papers, tags, Die-cut elements and Words Stickers from the Homegrown collection as long as other embellishments to ornate my layout. I love the end result. I really hope you play with us: you still have a few days left.
