Forever by Lisa Amiet

This layout features my husband of almost 20 years. We are celebrating our anniversary this month so thought I would create a layout featuring him. I had to keep the layout quite masculine and not lovey dovey as he wouldn’t appreciate that 🙂
The Hazy Days collection is perfect for my theme as it has a grungy, worn, film like feel to it. Ideal for a layout about a special man.

I started with ‘Hazy Days 12 x 12 Oil Spil’ paper as my base. I have then used the ‘Letters Stencil’ and ‘Hazy Days Chevron Stencil’ to add some dimension and colour to my base. I have used a mix of inks and modelling paste to achieve this effect. I have also used the stamps from the ‘Hazy Days Clear Stamp Set’, with brown inks, to add some spill and nail marks to my base. I have then added blue using the chevron stamp.

I have then used pieces from the ‘Hazy Days 6 x 6 Paper Pad’ that I have distressed, along with ‘Hazy Days Tags 12 x 12’ to add layers to my page. The tags are great for building up in co-ordinating patterns to the papers. Added in among my layout are pieces from the ‘Die-Cut Elements 6 x 12’ and some of the ‘Element Stickers 6 x 12’. I have also used some checkerboard and gear chipboard pieces scattered among my layers. To finish off I have used one of the ‘Word Stickers 6 x 12’ and a chipboard title ‘forever’. For finer detail I have then used black micro beads dribbled over my page.
