How do you like our March Moodboard? We hope it will spark your creativity. If the moodboard alone isn’t enough we asked the Winner of our last Challenge to create Guest Designer Project for us. Without further ado.

Let’s meet Lisa Griffith!

Hello 7 Dots lovers, my name is Lisa Griffith and I live in the USA. Ever since I can remember I have passionately loved and collected vintage ephemera; old books, postcards, newspapers, adverts, and I always try to find a way to include some of these in my designs. My mixed media pages are where I can combine some of the things I cherish the most; my antique papers, paints and photography, and I love creating my pages with 7 Dots Studio papers. By day, I work at putting things in order, but by night, I loose myself in my creations, and I find my style is chaotic, random, and full of messy watercolors… that’s the beauty and the freedom of creating art, it’s our inner self, spilled out onto a page. Thank you so much for having me as a Guest Designer!

‘Hazy Days’ is my favourite 7 Dots collection ever, and the one I used for this page, ‘Life Documented’. The yellows and orange of these papers are so perfect for this months gorgeous moodboard featuring the colour combination of orange and blue, warm golden sun meeting the cool blues of an evening sky. I am constantly inspired by the beauty of nature all around us, and took this photo on an early drive to work at dawn and was saving it for a special project. There is something so promising about a beautiful morning sky……. I hope you feel inspired by my page! xox
