Everyday treasures by Tusia Lech
Hello friends,
Here is Tusia Lech today with my newest layout. I am not sure, if I told you already, but Air Mail and Garden Party are my favourite two collections to mix and match. The colors are perfectly combined and in both collections you can find papers and elements, that match each other perfectly.
The photo for the layout, I prepared, was taken this year in Cracow, Poland when me and my friend were spending a weekend with Ringana booth. Ringana is a company, that I “work for” but these words are not exactly what I mean. Many years ago I quit my “corpo life” and decided not to give it my time anymore. That was one of the best decisions made ever. Everything that happens later, including 7 Dots Studio and Ringana, was my free choice and I wouldn’t choose better. On the photo above you can see my vegan breakfast. I spent time outside, on the deckchair, looking onto old royal castle (Wawel) and enjoying great company. This it a part of my job now, and I love it.
I love using left-overs from stickers and die-cut elements – above you can see cut out “frame” from the sheet of Air Mail Element Stickers. List of supplies is on the bottom of this blog post.
The media, I have used are mostly Finnabair. First thing applied on the background was Finnabair Modelling Paste through stencil. Then I started working with newest Finnabair Sparks – Chest of Gold. Fabulous colour!!! I loved it so much, that I used it also on the pieces of canvas, I used in that layout. On the close-ups you can see how it shimmers beautifully!
The doilies were coloured with same Art Alchemy Sparks Chest of Gold and also sprayed with mixture of Finnabair Mica Powder Gold and water. To create a bit shadowy effect under the central part of my layout I have used Liquid Acrylics Burnt Sienna.
